He didn't allow much, just 6 hits and no walks in 9 innings. Langley made it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs across. Nate Robertson(7-5) was the losing pitcher. He pitched 6 and 2/3 innings giving up 6 hits and 3 walks. When questioned about his counterpart after the game, Robertson was lavish in his praise, 'It was obvious very early on that we were going to be in for a long night. Sheets brought his 'A' game with him - he had good stuff and was able to spot it perfectly. He probably only made one or two bad pitches the entire game!
